The Harrachov or Harrach glass factory takes its name from Alois Raimund von Harrach, on whose estate it was founded in Bohemia, 1630. It was bought by Elias Muller in 1712. The factory was then called Neuwelter Hutte, and in 1764 it was renamed Graflich Harrach's Glass Factory.
Harrachov is a Czech city and is located on the west side of the Giant Mountains, a few kilometers from the Polish border.
